Each string of prayer flags consists of 25 flags. 100% cotton.
The five colours represent the five elements - earth, air, water, fire and space.
Each flag measures approx. 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm).
Buddhist 'Wind Horse' prayer flags.
These prayer flags are woodblock printed with mantras, prayers and images onto colourful cotton squares. The central image is of the Wind Horse bearing the flaming jewel of buddhist enlightenment.
At the corners are images of the 'Four Dignities', the Garuda, Dragon, Snow Lion and Tiger representing wisdom, gentle power, fearless joy and confidence.
The five traditional colours of the flags represent the five elements and the five Buddha families. Blue is for space, white for water, red for fire, green for air and wind and yellow for earth.
Hang your flags where the breeze can blow through them and the Wind Horse will carry the prayers and blessings for peace, compassion and wisdom to all beings.

We try to dispatch orders as soon as possible, normally within 12 - 48 hours and frequently quicker. At our very busy times, such as just before Christmas, this may take a little longer as the elves start to get tired, so please do allow us a little more time on these occasions. If your goods are out of stock we will email or telephone you and see if there is an alternative product that we can send.
Orders received after 1pm will be despatched the next working day. Orders received after 1pm on a Friday will be despatched the following Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday).
NEXT DAY DELIVERY is on the next working day so all orders despatched on a Friday will be delivered the following Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday). There are no courier deliveries on weekends but Saturday deliveries can be arranged at an extra charge. Please contact us for this facility.
